When I went to make a call at 7:45 AM (EST) I got a message that said I'd run out of time and needed to make a payment. Knowing that this was not true, I went to their website which said my payment is due 12-26-18.

Their chat is down; hours are between 7 AM and 5 PM (PST).

I went to a neighbor and used her phone to call 888-345-5509 - the recording said the number was not in service. I have no idea what is going on!!!

Product or Service Mentioned: Consumer Cellular Mobile Phone Service.

Same problem here in PA, it says not enough balance to place this call, I been on hold on chat since 10 am eastern. And just now there website went down. What I happening.

Same here in San Diego. But I finally got through to customer support number and am current waiting for a callback. They say 15 minute wait - not sure I believe that!
