THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES.IT TAKE AT LEAST 3-4 ATTEMPTS AND SOMETIMES DAYS TO GET ANYONE TO RESPOND, OR GET SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT TO ANSWER QUESTIONS...

ALL THE WHILE THE CLOCK IS TICKING DOWN ON YOUR TIME TO RETURN THESE PHONES/HOT SPOT WITHOUT CHARGE. YOU ALSO GET HUG UP ON A LOT WHEN TRYING TO GET SOMEONE TO FINALLY ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS THROUGH THEIR CUSTOMER CARE(LESS) PHONE SERVICE.! THAT SAID, As a long time AARP Customer My husband and I were excited to find out that AARP Consumer Cellular services did not require a Contract. NOT TRUE!

What they do not tell you is that MOST VERIZON PHONES DO NOT WORK ON THEIR SYSTEM AND YOU MUST STAY WITH THEM A MINIMUM OF 6-MONTHS OR THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE CODES TO CHANGE THE CONSUMER CELLULAR PHONE YOU PAID FOR OVER TO A MORE RELIABLE PHONE SYSTEM. I WASTED BOTH MY TIME AND MONEY CHANGING OVER TO CONSUMER CELLULAR ONLY TO CHANGE BACK TO VERIZON. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY IT IS NOT WORTH IT...

I NOW HAVE MY HUSBAND'S CONSUMER CELLULAR PHONE AND A THEIR HOT SPOT THAT IS WORTHLESS TO US.
