Consumer Cellular - Just tired of all the problems with Doro 7050 flip phone
I have had 3 of these phones. The first one had the wrong SIM card inside and wouldn't read anything.
The second one had to be charged 2-3 times daily, therefore finally battery died. The third is the one I have now and it duplicates numbers also I have to hit the keys over and over and over to make a connection. It's a terrible phone! Why does CC push such a phone onto their customers when I have heard nothing but negative things about it?
I was told by a supervisor at CC that Feb and Oct are the months new phones are offered. That was last year............I'm still waiting for a new flip phone to be offered other than the Doro 7050 and/or the Link, which is one that took several steps to go to ONE PLACE!!! I have been a member of CC since 2011.............customer service was once nothing less than GREAT.............now: nothing but words, they just go through the motions to tell their customers what the customers want to hear.
What a shame that they are pushing their customers away. The reps tell me they hear the same complaints over and over regarding the Doro 7050 and I have read over 300 of the reviews of this phone and I would guess at least 90% are negative.
Monetary Loss: $50.
Preferred solution: as stated before, CC needs to start offering to their customers quality phones. .

Generally a nice phone. I have had two 7050 phones and keys go wonky and unpredictable.
Same troubles as above person. Not pissed, just disappointed in lack of better flip phones.
