No help for weak cell signal

If you live in an area with a strong signal, youre in luck. Otherwise, because CC doesnt own a toweryou cant get a boost to your signal.
Customer Service, though friendly, has been on the decline for years.
This is my 12 th year with this company, and the agents are really lacking the knowledge of product and application now. A lot of the agents work from home, so the standards have suffered greatly.

Terrible customer service. I lost two days of cell service when they switched to AT&T exclusively.

They had on record that I had a phone that was incompatible with the new system, but failed to inform me. All they offered was a $25 credit if I bought a new phone from Consumer Cellular.

I switched to T-Mobile and I'm paying less. If you use your phone for the internet, Consumer Cellular is actually more expensive.

In the past consumer cellular has fantastic customer service but I've spoken to 3 different consumer cellular customer service people this weekend and the only helpful one was named Kenya. The worst was DeeAnn.

(I'm not sure of the spelling). She was so rude I asked for her supervisor.

I was put on eternal hold. I doubt that she attempted to connect me to anyone.

Had a little problem trying to explain I wanted to pay my bill via EFT because my credit card was cancelled due to a fraud event and I did not have the new number yet. He finally got the picture.

Because my card was cancelled due to fraud the autopay failed. So.

I needed to pay using my checking account. He kept going back to the credit card.
finally he got the correct understanding about what I wanted to do.
